Apr 09, 07 | David Bowie – The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust

In my opinion, this is the definitive David Bowie album. How can it get better than this?

I would say that, great as this album is, it can’t be definitive because Bowie had so many different phases. I would include Station to Station in there too!

And where’d you get the cool player, did you make it?

I agree: that is a cool player. I’d love to see it on more sites.

Thanks for posting a classic album.

Thanks guys. I suppose you’re right MusicNerd, but I can still like it best can’t I?

P.S. I can’t take credit for the player. It was created by Fabricio Zuardi (I think he also made the Wordpress plugin as well.) You can visit his site here.

Absolutely! There are many days when it’s my favorite too!

Just wondering about the player, is it legal? Technically, I mean.

Technically, I’m not sure. Personally, I legally own the album. Plus, the only way for the user to obtain the songs is to record from stream which degrades quality. Though, I bet if the RIAA truly wanted to, they could ask me to take it down. I wouldn’t want to mess with such a large corporation. But why would they want me not to share David Bowie?

I’m a huge Bowie fan, and even I haven’t tried to define his best album! It’s already been said that he has had so many phases, many thanks for posting this though!

Oh yeah, great player…

Certainly a fine album, and if it were not for one thing I’d agree totally.

I have just two words to say.

Hunky Dory.

I’d say, for sheer creativity and ingeniousness, this is one of the definitive albums of all time.

Thanks for making my day/life/this universe a good 1000 times better. Also, for those who haven’t, see Velvet Goldmine. Think Rocky Horror Picture Show + the lives of David Bowie and Iggy Pop + Christian Bale.
